Pengembangan Model Green Digital Production Berbasis Kearifan Lokal untuk Mendukung Industri Berkelanjutan: Studi Kasus Industri Tenun Baduy

Abstract

The development of sustainable industry has increased the need for production models that emphasize not only operational efficiency but also environmental preservation and the integration of local wisdom as a source of innovation. Traditional industrial practices in Indonesia demonstrate that indigenous knowledge possesses significant potential to be combined with environmentally friendly technologies in creating more sustainable production systems. Nevertheless, studies addressing the integration of green technology and local wisdom from an industrial engineering perspective remain limited and have yet to establish a comprehensive conceptual framework. This study aims to develop a conceptual model of sustainable industry based on environmentally friendly technology and local wisdom through a literature review approach. The research employed a systematic literature review by examining scientific journal articles, books, and policy documents published between 2018 and 2025. Data were analyzed descriptively through literature identification, selection, synthesis, and interpretation to formulate the key concepts supporting the proposed model. The findings indicate that successful sustainable industrial implementation is determined by the synergy among green technological innovation, resource efficiency, circular economy principles, industrial digitalization, and the preservation of local wisdom values. The integration of these five dimensions produces a conceptual framework capable of improving operational efficiency, reducing environmental impacts, strengthening production system resilience, and enhancing long-term industrial competitiveness. This study contributes theoretically to the advancement of sustainable industry concepts within industrial engineering and provides practical insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers in designing more innovative, adaptive, and sustainability-oriented industrial transformation strategies.
